It was a last minute request for me to give a class on Akincana (lack of material possessions), Akama (lack of material desires) and Aniha (equality in material acquisitions).  This was given as a Tuesday Topical Class for Bhaktivedanta College, Radhadesh Belgium, in 2012.

This lecture was looking at truthfulness and honesty for our weekly Bhaktivedanta College Topical Classes.

Referenced books included: Bhagavad-Gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Specific verses referenced included: SB 1.2.17, BG 10.4-5, BG 16.1-3, BG 17.15 & BG 18.42.

[Feedback suggests a good essay with very interesting points.  I have not written the verses into the essay, but rather provide them in the foot notes, which apparently makes it difficult for the reader.  I aligned Baladeva Vidyabhusana into the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition and not clearly noted his ties with the Madhvites, which I most likely forgot to note due to covering it extensively in a previous course’s presentation.  Coloquial notions were used thus hindering the academic style of writing.  64%]
